Milestones shaped by persistence
In her October 2026 announcement, Lisa Dong shared two milestones in her personal and professional journey: receiving the title of Mrs. Universe Ambassador 2026 and serving as a Member of the Interim Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Business Association in the Philippines.
She described the recognition not as an overnight achievement, but as part of a longer path shaped by work, setbacks, sacrifice, learning and the willingness to begin again.
A responsibility beyond recognition
As a Vietnamese woman building her life and business in the Philippines, Lisa sees the milestones as carrying a wider responsibility to contribute to both Vietnamese and Filipino communities.
Entrepreneurship, community work and cross-cultural engagement have become connected parts of that journey, turning personal recognition into a platform for service and representation.
Keep moving forward
Her message is centered on resilience: ambition does not require a perfect path, and setbacks do not need to become stopping points. Growth comes from continuing to learn, acting with humility and maintaining the courage to start again.
For Lisa, October 2026 is therefore less about titles themselves than about what comes next — using each opportunity with purpose and remaining grounded in the communities that helped shape the journey.
